Cork Life Centre is holding an Edmund Rice Conference Week from 3rd – 6th May 2016. Each day there will be interesting workshops and keynote speakers. The themes of the conference are wide and varied and include community issues, human rights, children’s rights, mental health, poetry and reflections. There are some very prominent keynote speakers including: Emily Logan, Chief Commissioner Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission; Dr. Tony Bates, Founding Director and CEO of Headstrong; Tanya Ward, CEO of Children’s Rights Alliance and Jillian Van Turnhout, former senator and Children’s Rights champion; Mary Crilly, Director of the Cork Sexual Violence Centre. Brothers Donal Blake and Jim Donovan of the Christian Brothers Congregation will also have an input.
Well done to Don O’ Leary and all in the Cork Life Centre for assembling such a comprehensive programme of workshops and keynote speakers for the conference. A full programme is attached for downloading.
