We are in a time of transition when many of the old certainties are disappearing, where the signposts for spiritual living are shrouded in mist and many are feeling lost. There is a longing deep down in us to make sense of our lives, to understand what is happening to our planet, our world and ourselves. Can we help one another to listen more deeply to the stirrings within us and among us? Can we engage in conversations that go beyond the banal and carry life and energy for us? Can we search together for a purpose that makes sense of our being?
Margaret Benefiel works with the Shalem Institute in the USA, which supports people on the spiritual journey. She is coming to Ireland this month (January) and we have invited her to lead us in a session in the Marino Institute of Education (See below for the details). Margaret will lead us on the topics of listening and engaging with one another in groups, using a mixture of input and practising the skills in small groups.
If you would welcome the opportunity to be with others on a journey of deeper discovery of who you really are, of who WE are as followers of Jesus and how we might respond to the needs of our world at this time, you might consider attending the gathering in the Marino Institute of Education on 19th and 20th January 2017
