Celebrating the Autumn Equinox

Command the last fruits to be full;

Give them just two more southern days,

Urge them on to completion and chase

The last sweetness into heavy wine.

(Rainer Maria Rilke)

You are invited to join us at the time of Autumn Equinox to explore and reflect on the rhythms of nature, the wonder of the seasons and our place in the story.

Conscious of Climate Change and the destruction of our ‘common home’, and in times when everything looks like being undone, we seek to raise awareness of this special time of transition. As we walk the journey from light through twilight into darkness we will discover, through Scripture, personal reflections, poetry and music, the meaning of light and darkness in our own lives.
