Paddy Gravin, who is 93 years young, celebrated his jubilee in Westcourt, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, the birthplace of Blessed Edmund Rice on Saturday, 16th August. It was an occasion of great rejoicing for Paddy, his family and friends and all the Brothers. Paddy’s daily prayer is that he would live each day fully as a Christian Brother and as a faithful follower of Edmund Rice. The fact that Paddy’s sister, herself a Religious Sister, was able to be present for the occasion added greatly to the occasion. We thank God for Paddy’s fidelity, commitment, love and service to the Congregation and to Catholic education.
